Bulldog Skincare for Men is an award-winning skincare company, started by two friends in a spare bedroom in West London 13 years ago and now selling in 30 markets across the world.

We’re known for our brilliantly formulated skincare products, which are purpose built for the specific needs of men’s skin. For regular, sensitive, oil prone, and mature skin, Bulldog has the answer, presented in a straightforward and characterful way to help men look and feel their best. You might also be surprised to know that Bulldog has always pushed boundaries to formulate its products as ethically as possible - from our revolutionary bamboo razor, to never using microbeads, ingredients from animal sources, synthetic fragrances, or artificial colours. We were also the first men’s skincare brand in the world to use sugarcane as a raw material in our packaging. It’s this disruptive approach that means we are the driver of growth in our category in the UK and other markets, and we have very exciting plans to accelerate our growth in the immediate future. We are now looking for a Head of Marketing & Communications to play a key role in this exciting period!

You want to own your career and you’re ready to write the next chapter of your career story: a challenging and rewarding role as Head of Marketing & Communications with an exciting global focus.  

Reporting to the General Manager, you will play an active role in Bulldog’s leadership team and will be responsible for setting and delivering on a clear marketing strategy to build the brand and activate sales in the UK, USA, and all other markets that Bulldog operates in, both offline and online. You will be responsible for brand architecture, developing creative briefs, digital marketing, building direct consumer databases, partnering with agencies and budget management. With 4 direct reports (Digital Marketing, Communications, Design and Photography), you will enjoy leading, motivating and developing a small team and will be an exceptional relationship builder who is able to influence, since the role involves working closely with global hub marketing teams. This is the perfect opportunity for an entrepreneurially minded ‘hands on’ marketer who has proven success in brand development and a flair for the creation and development of assets.

We are looking for the following essential skills and experience:

  • Successful track record of setting and developing a global brand(s) across key marketing metrics & building market share
  • Comfortable in analyzing data as route to test ideas, refine customer understanding, building segments and figuring out the best mechanics to drive sales, awareness and engagement
  • A ‘hands on’ team player who can is willing to get involved in all levels of marketing
  • Commercially skilled
  • Confident influencer and decision maker
  • Team management experience
  • Experience of working in FMCG/ Consumer Goods/Retail sector
