Business Development Manager
We are looking for a driven sales professional to join our small creative agency. We specialise in explainer animations and produce creative media campaigns for companies of all shapes and sizes. You will be the first point of contact for all inbound sales enquiries, and responsible for the new business revenue to support our fast-growing creative agency.
We are looking for someone who is unafraid to challenge the client’s mindset. No project is ever the same and you will be expected to propose a relevant solution, tailored to the client.
This role comes with great responsibility – you will be the only sales executive in our company (for now!). Our ideal candidate would be a career-minded individual who is passionate about growing a small business.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities and respond to inbound sales enquiries
- Meeting with the client to determine their needs; investigating deeper than simply “they want a whiteboard animation”
- Creating bespoke solutions and campaigns for each client
- Writing proposals and managing proposal content from the wider team
- Booking pitch meetings with prospective clients and presenting our proposed solution
- Negotiating terms and closing the deal
- Looking for upsell and cross-sell opportunities in existing accounts
- Generate new business opportunities in existing accounts

- Managing projects or work from multiple team members
