If this sounds like you, then we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join a leading international B2B marketing agency based in central London.

My client is looking for an Account Director to join their team. The role will play a pivotal part in some of the agency’s largest accounts, working with the brightest marketing minds in the industry. With offices in the UK, US and Asia they work with some of the leading lights in the B2B tech space and are looking for someone to help them on their journey towards business growth.

About the role

As an Account Director, you will work closely with clients on developing and delivering their marketing strategies. You will put your b2b marketing know-how into practice by advising clients with creative ideas to solve their marketing problems and drive outstanding integrated marketing campaign, including lead generation, content, customer advocacy, social, web and consultancy programmes.  You will be responsible for satisfying and growing one of the agency’s largest accounts, leading client communications, helping with new business and developing the team.  

About you

Commercially-savvy and client-oriented, you’re a multi-disciplined AD with the ability to grow opportunities across the end-to-end marketing spectrum, including lead generation, content, social, web and consultancy programmes.

You’ll be a dab hand at conveying technical and complex marketing language into a clear strategy, and will be a strategic thinker when faced with clients’ marketing challenges and have experience of leading successful marketing projects and programmes.

You will be looking to take on the responsibility of managing a large complex global account and will be comfortable driving a team to deliver outstanding work.   


A passion for B2B in general 

Experience in creating and delivering integrated marketing strategies and programmes

Experience working with large international corporate brands

EMEA wide or international marketing experience

Outstanding client handling skills - setting expectations, delivering campaigns and evaluating success

Strong financial management skills in relation to client budgets and resource management

A desire to use data in devising campaigns and delivering relevant outcomes

An understanding of what a good return on marketing investment looks like

An ability to identify new opportunities, within current clients, in new business

An interest in and appreciation of the wider marketing and communications landscape and an appetite to bring new ideas to your clients

A desire to work within (and where relevant, manage) a diverse team of varying skillsets spanning the entire marketing spectrum

Confidence and experience in juggling a number of large projects simultaneously
